My Whims

Do you pay attention to your whims? A whim; an odd or capricious notion or desire.

To pay attention is the key to the question.

A few whims I’ve found so far;

Riding in the back of a pick up truck while lying down after dark.

Driving a vehicle with the windows down while listening to loud classical music.

Smiling at every face I see.

Jumping on a trampoline in the rain.

Reading Omens.

Watching the steam from my coffee.

Petting soft fabric.

Talking to trees.

I share these with you in hopes that you will pay attention to your whims, that you will remember them, and will continue to find more.

If you are suffering a bad day or year, remind yourself of your unique desires, repeat a whim or two and remember life can be a wonder.
